After completing our Vision Day on September 13, we moved on to implementation. This week we had the opportunity to present and introduce the first changes.
What has happened so far
Since we made the joint decision on September 13 that we want to grow closer together in the future to be able to "pull together", we have been working with DIE BERATERINNEN on proposed solutions, which we presented to the steering group.
We developed a new internal structure that focuses less on individual branches and more on the "big picture". The result is a simple yet comprehensive overall package for us.
The steering group
This overall package was presented to the steering group. All positions and consequences were discussed in detail by all managers and four committed representatives from the team. At the end of the meeting, the proposal was adopted unanimously. I could clearly sense an aura. An aura of curiosity and "wanting to implement". And that is something that gives the COMMON NENNER project strength!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the steering group and the representatives from the team. We had a very good exchange and this new form of collaboration is already the cornerstone for our path into a future where we all want to pull together even more!
The first steps: Duty planning & communication
This week the time had come - the first steps were implemented. New software for internal communication and exchange ensures shorter paths and improved feedback messages. New rostering software and changes to the rostering process itself will provide more freedom and planning security in future. Here, too, the focus was on enabling employees to plan more themselves and communicate more directly/easily with the new technical tools.

What may sound abstract at this point has tangible effects in practice, because overall we now have the best conditions for combining work and private life in the best possible way in the future. This brings us a good deal closer to the New Work organization that we want to become.
What happens next?
We are currently in the middle of the winter season. The next changes will therefore be made in small steps until the end of the season in April. The next major tasks await us after April 2023. Of course, we will continue to provide information about all the important steps in this blog!
